The Jelic family begins the wine story in 2002, between four rivers and four mountains, on the mythical shores of the Pannonian Sea near Valjevo. This is where the wine she produces today is made, using the latest wine achievements of today, and she nurtures it the way our ancestors did… deep underground under the gentle hills on which she was born.
On the slopes of the Valjevo mountains with the most beautiful exposures, at an ideal altitude and in specific microclimatic conditions, more than suitable for growing vines, 20 hectares of vineyards have been planted. They are dominated by varieties Morava, Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc, Merlot, Pinot noir. Where for hundreds of years vineyards have been the pride of every good host and where this tradition has been interrupted in the last few decades, a new era is beginning.
From the very beginning, the commitment is to combine traditional methods of wine production and modern equipment, with the aim that the wine that comes out of our cellar has a distinct character, be authentic and recognizable at the first sip.
WINE TOURISM
Where the first drop of wine is always looking for the second… Within the winery there is a luxury tasting room, which is open for visits by both individuals and organized wine groups from Serbia and abroad.
“Team building” weekend programs are very popular with larger companies, the complete organization of which is realized by the winery staff. Depending on what the group is in the mood for, a professional group tasting of four types of wine, optional enjoyment of the wine and the ambience, as well as lunch with a view of the vineyards and the Valjevo mountains are possible.
